The Bacchus WJB5-1DX-AC RSM/M is a five-string active electric bass from the Universe Series, combining modern electronics with comfortable playing characteristics. Its WOODLINE-inspired poplar body features a slimmer profile than conventional JB-style basses, making the instrument easier to hold.
Original JB Type pickups are paired with an active preamp and a two-band equalizer for flexible sound shaping. The control layout includes a master volume, pickup balancer and separate treble and bass controls, allowing players to adjust their sound directly on the instrument.
The roasted maple neck and fingerboard are complemented by jumbo stainless steel frets, offering improved wear resistance and smooth playability. A heel-less neck joint with a contoured bolt area facilitates access to the upper frets.
Additional features include a vintage-style fixed bridge, open-gear machine heads and a PPS nut. The bass has an 864 mm scale length, a 400R fingerboard radius and a 46 mm nut width. This version features the 3 Tone Sunburst finish and comes with a soft case, Allen wrench and certificate of authenticity.
