The Bacchus BARON-STD/S is an archtop electric guitar combining a distinctive retro-inspired design with versatile P-90-style electronics. Its gently curved nyatoh body gives the instrument a characteristic profile, while the nyatoh neck with a matte back finish allows smooth position changes. A rosewood fingerboard completes the construction.
Two metal-covered Bacchus STP-5 P-90-type pickups feature Alnico 5 magnets and braided wiring. They combine the bright, rounded character of single-coil pickups with warm, sweet tonal qualities. Individual volume and tone controls for each pickup, together with a three-way toggle selector, provide flexible sound adjustment.
The guitar features a T.O.M.-type bridge, Rotomatic-type machine heads, nickel silver frets and a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut. Its 628 mm scale length and 42 mm nut width complement the traditional design. The BLK variation is one of the manufacturer's listed finishes.
Each instrument undergoes individual inspection and setup at Deviser's headquarters in Matsumoto, Japan. A gig bag, Allen wrench and certificate of authenticity are included.
