The Bacchus WL4-STD/RSM is a four-string electric bass from the Roasted Maple Series, combining a nyatoh body with a roasted maple neck and fingerboard. The high-temperature treatment of the maple is designed to improve its stability and resistance to warping while contributing to a rich, organic tonal character.
Its slightly downsized body shape offers comfortable handling without sacrificing the full 34-inch scale length. The bass features an original Jazz Bass-style pickup set with passive electronics, two volume controls and a master tone control. Pulling up the tone knob activates the turbo switch, connecting the neck and bridge pickups in series to produce a fuller, humbucker-like sound.
Additional hardware includes a JB-style bridge with brass saddles, open-gear machine heads and a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut. Nickel silver frets and a 38 mm nut width complete the specifications.
